Formålet for Prioratet Dacia af Sct.Johannes af Jerusalems Hospitalsorden er:

1. At fremme alle bestræbelser, der måtte tjene til moralsk og åndelig styrkelse af mennesker i overenstemmelse med ordenens første grund sætning: "Pro Fide".
2. Opmuntring og fremme af alle caritative, humanitære og velgørende foranstaltninger til hjælp for syge, trængende, lidende og nødstedt mennesker i virkeliggørelse af ordenens anden rundsætning: "Pro Utilitate Hominum".
3. At oprette institutioner eller organer til fremme af ordenens almin delige formål.
4. At opretholde kontakt og at udvikle samarbejdet med beslægtede orde ner og organisationer.
5. At modtage og bestyre gaver, fast ejendom, arvede midler, obligationer, fonds, aktier, ærdipapirer og hvilkensomhelst andre aktiver, at låne eller fremskaffe pengemidler, enten med eller uden sikkerhed, til anvendelse for ethvert af ordenens formål, hva enten unde kastet særlige forvaltningsbestemmelser eller ej.
6. Gennem tildeling af medaljer, emblemer eller æresdiplomer at udtryk ke anerkendelse af særlige tjenester i caritativt øjemed.
7. At oprette og vedligeholde samlinger af beger, dokumenter, kunstvær ker og genstande af historisk interesse for ordenen.

The purpose of the Priory of Dacia of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem Knights Hospitaller is:

1. To promote all efforts, which may serve as moral and spiritual strengthening of human beings in agreement with the first principle of the Order: "Pro Fide" .
2 Encouragement and promotion of charity, humanitarian and charitable arrangements to the assistance of sick, needy, suffering and distressed human beings in realisation of the second principle of the Order: "Pro Utilitate Hominus" .
3. To establish institutions or structures to promote the general purposes of the Order.
4. To maintain contact and to develop the co-operation among related Orders and organisations.
5. To receive and administer donations, real property, inherited means, bonds, stocks, shares, securities and any other assets, to borrow or procure capital, either with or without security for use to any purpose of the Order, whether it is submitted to special stipulations of administration or not.
6. Through bestowal of medals, badges or diplomas of honour to express the appreciation of exceptional services in particular charitable purposes.
7. To establish and maintain collections of books, documents, works of art and objects of historic value for the Order.
